Annual Las Vegas Veterans Day Parade 11/11
Veterans Action Group welcomes you and thanks you for supporting the Las Vegas Veterans Day Parade. Your participation is a great way to honor our U.S. Military and Veterans for their service.
Veterans, their families and supporters come to Downtown Las Vegas annually from across the U.S. to line the parade route as well as participate in it. The parade is made up of approximately 140 entries, nearly 5,500 individual participants and is observed by a crowd of roughly 40,000+ spectators. It continues to expand.
“We put on the annual Las Vegas Veterans Day Parade, the second largest Veterans Day Parade in the Nation. Please join us on Tuesday morning, November 11th, in Downtown Las Vegas to honor the men and women who put on a uniform to serve and protect our Nation. The parade gets underway at 4th and Garces at 10am and heads north to the review stand located at 4th and Ogden. We encourage parents to bring their children to the parade; they’ll promote the concept of generational continuity. We are honored to be joined by the City of Las Vegas Mayor, the Las Vegas City Council on the Las Vegas Fire and Rescue ‘Big Red,’ Active Duty, Reserve Units, Nevada National Guard, First Responders, Veteran Service Organizations, Veteran Groups, ROTC and JROTC, Marching Bands, Drill Teams, Scouting Clubs, Dance Schools, Youth Groups, Car Clubs, Motorcycle Clubs, Businesses, Hotels & Casinos, and supporters developing youth awareness and community appreciation for U.S. Military and our Veterans.
Veterans Action Group welcomes you to join us with invited dignitaries including the Governor of Nevada, the William Stojack Memorial Honorary Veteran, U.S. Military Officers, U.S. Military personnel, including WWII Veterans, Platinum and Gold sponsors, our Veteran Masters of Ceremonies Alan Stock AM 840 KXNT and Les Krifiton FOX5 on the grandstand.
