Mojave Veterans Day Ceremony
The Mojave Chamber of Commerce invites the community to a heartfelt Veterans Day Ceremony on Nov. 11 at 11 a.m., at Legacy Park, located at the Mojave Air and Spaceport 1434 Flight Line, Mojave, Calif.
This annual event pays tribute to the brave men and women who have served our nation, with a special focus on honoring local veterans and their families. The ceremony will feature a keynote address by Donald G. Parent Jr., a Vietnam War veteran who served in “C” Company, 1st Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division during 1967–68.
Parent is a 100 percent disabled veteran, a mul- tiple Purple Heart Recipient, and the author of “The
Warzone PTSD Survivors Guide,” published by www. PTSDHotline.com. His powerful message of resil- ience and remembrance will anchor the ceremony.
