Sept. 5: SFS responded to a re-
port of a medical emergency at the Exchange. The individual made complaints of a child’s foot stuck in a shopping cart. The individual was treated with no injuries.
Sept. 6: SFS responded to a report of a medical emergency at Bldg. 1514. The individual made com- plaints of breathing difficulty. The individual was treated and released.
Sept. 8: SFS responded to a report of a medical emergency in housing. The individual made complaints of a head injury. The individual was treated and released.
Sept. 8: SFS responded to a re- port of a medical emergency at the commissary. The individual made complaints of a scorpion bite. The individual was treated and released.
Sept. 9: SFS responded to a report of an animal neglect/child neglect call in base housing. The animal in question was deceased and the owner was requested to return to the house and was apprehended and charged with articles 92 and 134 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. The Department of Public Safety was requested to investigate possible child neglect.
Sept. 10: SFS responded to a report of a medical emergency at
the base track. The individual made complaints of abdominal pains. The individual was transported to Abrazo West Campus.
Sept. 13: SFS responded to a re- port of an unattended child in base housing. SFS received a tip from 911 that an infant was in a crib unattended. SFS arrived on scene and made entry into the house that also had two older juveniles inside the house. Child protective services was contacted and responded.
Sept. 17: SFS responded to a re- port of an unlawful entry/trespass- ing at South Gate. A non-military affiliated civilian went through South Gate ignoring entry control- lers and traffic cones. The subject was stopped and detained. Glendale police took control.
Sept. 18: SFS responded to a report of a medical emergency at the Luke AFB track. The patient was complaining of chest pain and transported to Abrazo West Campus.
Sept. 21: SFS received a phone call via the 911 system to report a medical emergency on base. A child had fallen down and transported by the father to the hospital for treatment.
Sept. 22: SFS was conducting duty at South Gate when a vehicle struck a curb damaging the vehicle. SFS personnel suspected and con- firmed with a field sobriety and
blood tests, the driver was under the influence. The suspect received an Article 111 for drunken driving. The suspect was released to the unit first sergeant.
Sept. 23: SFS responded to a report of a medical emergency at one of the dorms. The patient was complaining of severe chest pains and numbness in legs. The patient was transported to Abrazo West Campus.
Non-emergency responses
Aug. 28: SFS identified an un- secured facility at Bldg. 810. The building custodian conducted a walkthrough of the building with negative findings. The building was secured.
Sept. 13: SFS responded to a report of damage to government property. The individual made com- plaints of scratches to the passenger side of the car. There are no suspects.
Sept. 22: SFS responded to a re- port of damage to personal property at a base parking lot. The individual complained of a two-foot by six-inch scratch on the hood of the vehicle. No suspects at this time.
Alarm activations
SFS responded to 27 alarm activa- tions on base.

Hooking up the F-35
Daniel Villela, 56th Logistics Readiness Squadron mobile equipment mechanic, poses next to the pintle hook assembly on a bobtail Sept. 14 at Luke Air Force Base. Villela was the lead mechanic to provide the steps in reconfiguring and implementing a fix to the pintle hook mechanism for the bobtails that tow the F-35 on the flightline at Luke.
