Why the case model is important:
Aside from checking the overall fit, Carlson AirFlo will ensure that the correct stubs, with the correct thickness, will be installed on the shelves at the time of assembly. The question is what happens if the case specific stubs are not used on the shelves? The shelf will not connect because it is not compatible with the case standards. The brackets will not fit into the standards
in the rear of the case. This event will cause a loss of time and money to acquire replacement stubs for the brackets. This is eliminated by providing the correct case manufacturer.
In addition, Carlson AirFlo also ensures that the spacing between the shelf brackets, left side and right side, are spaced ac- cording to the Manufacturers specification, to match the center line of the case standard. This step also ensures the time spent in the field to make corrections is eliminated.
The position of the rack pins to match the mounting holes within the case is also a very critical part in the assembly of the racks to be used with the case. Having to remove and reset these pins in the racks during field installation can be a very time consuming event leading to costly hours of extra labor. Carlson AirFlo will ensure that mounting pins are inserted into the proper position on the rack, at the time of assembly, if the case model and manufacturer is provided at the time the order is entered. Carlson AirFlo will also ship the pins loose if the customer prefers when the case model is not available.
