ANDERSON rounds the corner from the Private
Residence towards the Oval Office. He is still wearing his
robe.
CHIEF OF STAFF SCOFFER: (as they walk, holds up
document)
I sent this both email and fax -- it was
blocked... Returned. We cannot get through to the outside,
Mister President.
PRESIDENT ANDERSON: Reroute it through the
Pentagon!
SENIOR COUNSEL WHIPP: They are the ones blocking
it, sir.
CHIEF OF STAFF SCOFFER: Three vans left the White
House twenty minutes ago with the Secret Service
Contingent. Captain Swarther said the backup was
seconds away.
