The President disappears into the White House.
A NAVY CHOPPER. In the sky over Virginia, settling
down against the arc of a bright orange sky.
A SUBURBAN STREET - DAWN
The chopper is a gusty guest on the quiet street.
IN THE BEDROOM AT TIMOTHY PREPP'S HOUSE -
DAWN
Amanda is in bed asleep when she the pocketa-pocketa
noise of the chopper wakes her. Alarmed, she sits up, then
grabs her robe and runs out the room.
IN THE LIVING ROOM. SUBURBAN HOUSE. DAWN
SHOOTING THROUGH THE PICTURE WINDOW: The
chopper door opens and a ladder descends. Now Timothy
Prepp appears, being helped down by the Navy
Commander.
A SUBURBAN STREET - DAWN
The Navy Commander looks on as Amanda runs out the
front door, into the arms of her husband, wrapping her
arms around his neck.
THE HELICOPTER: Lifts off.
The two hold each other
tight on the dewy lawn.
