Behind the Speaker and his Wife, Melissa Chang turns to

THROUGH THE GAUNTLET OF THE PRESS: Secretary
Manning guides his wobbly wife to the open the limo
door, carefully urges her inside.
INT. SPEAKER MANNING'S LIMOUSINE - NIGHT
As the Chauffeur gets into the front seat, Speaker
Manning waves out to the political paparazzi and
continues his professional smile to the fans.
WANDA
: How dare you interrupt me like that.
SPEAKER MANNING:
That's the last time you're going
out. No more.
(turns to Chauffeur) Get us the hell out of
here!
WANDA
: What're you so pissed about, Mister God?
SPEAKER MANNING:
You said you wouldn't drink. You
said you'd make no more political comments. -- 'Lame
dog.' -- You just do not call the President a lame dog in
front of the press!
WANDA: Why not? YOU do!
SPEAKER MANNING: I'm not a drunk!
