 PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. Psalm 34:7
TO GOD: Father, thank you for the unseen protection you give to each of us. I thank you that my life is ‘hidden with Christ in God’ (Colossians 3:3). I am shielded!
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, for your glory may your church forgive, turn the other cheek, walk the extra mile... all in the face of the enemy, for your glory.
FOR THE WORLD: We pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters, especially [names]. Please strengthen them so that their faith will not fail and their persecutors will see the glory of God in them.
FOR OUR NATION: Almighty God, we pray for justice for refugees, especially those seeking asylum. May we always care for the ‘alien in our midst’ (Leviticus 19:34).
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, please teach us how to pray more effectively for our friends and neighbours in their various needs.
FOR MYSELF: Father, open my eyes to see more of your grace, mercy and the love that you shower upon me. May I be truly thankful.
  PRAYER
Jehovah Jireh, help us trust in your provision for all we need. In Jesus name. AMEN.

  PRAYER FOR PERSONAL COMMITMENT
A PROMISE FROM GOD TO CLAIM:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” The Lord Jesus stands outside our lives longing to be invited into them, and to make his eternal life real for us. What do we have to do? Pray the following prayer as your personal response to God!
A PRAYER TO OFFER TO GOD:
‘Lord Jesus Christ, I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life. I ask for your forgiveness and turn from everything that I know is wrong. Thank you for dying on the Cross for me to set me free from my sins. Please come into my life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and be with me forever. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen.’
A PATHWAY TO WALK WITH GOD:
Jesus calls you to be his friend and share your life with Him. He will guide and strengthen you. He will not fail you or abandon you (Deut 31:6). He wants you to trust Him and obey what He says. It is the start of an exciting new life.
If you have made a commitment to a personal faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, we would love to hear details of your journey. You can write to us at: Nationwide Christian Trust, Mulberry House, Chelmsford Road,
