LET US PRAY...
“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.” John 8:11
TO GOD: Father, I thank you for your high calling ‘to be holy as you are holy’ (Leviticus 11:44). May this be my life’s goal for your glory.
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, forgive us when we have allowed ourselves to be polluted by the world (James 1:27). Thank you Jesus you are coming back for a pure and spotless bride.
FOR THE WORLD: Heavenly Father, may we be like choosing mercy to triumph over judgement, knowing love cannot fail (1Corinthians 13:8).
FOR OUR NATION: Lord Jesus, ‘Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin condemns any people’ (Proverbs 14:34). Let us pray...
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, may our lives be ‘living epistles’ (2Corinthians 3:2) personifying good news.
FOR MYSELF: Father, forgive me for the times when I profane the holy and make holy the profane.

PRAYER FOR PERSONAL COMMITMENT
A PROMISE FROM GOD TO CLAIM:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” The Lord Jesus stands outside our lives longing to be invited into them, and to make his eternal life real for us. What do we have to do? Pray the following prayer as your personal response to God!
A PRAYER TO OFFER TO GOD:
‘Lord Jesus Christ, I am sorry for the things I have done wrong in my life. I ask for your forgiveness and turn from everything that I know is wrong. Thank you for dying on the Cross for me to set me free from my sins. Please come into my life and fill me with your Holy Spirit and be with me forever. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen.’
A PATHWAY TO WALK WITH GOD:
Jesus calls you to be his friend and share your life with Him. He will guide and strengthen you. He will not fail you or abandon you (Deut 31:6). He wants you to trust Him and obey what He says. It is the start of an exciting new life.
If you have made a commitment to a personal faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, we would love to hear details of your journey. You can write to us at: Nationwide Christian Trust Prayerline, Mulberry House, Chelmsford Road, High Ongar, Essex, CM5 9NL
