 Kevin is an Ordained Minister in the New Testament Church of God, the largest Black Majority Church in the UK. As a musician, he came to Christ in his twenties through his interest in Gospel music, having never attended Sunday school or a church before this. Kevin is Lead Chaplain for Notts Healthcare NHS Trust (Mental Health), leading a Multi-Faith team of 35 chaplains. He is married with three children.
Helena Wilkinson is the author of 12 books, including ‘Puppet on a String’, written when she was 19. She has been a writer & international speaker since her first book. She was the founder & director of an eating disorder charity until 2019, when she had a life-threatening & life- changing accident. She is still in recovery but has returned to writing Living Light Bible Reflections.
Cara has been writing for Living Light for many years and has also written for Woman Alive magazine and Scripture Union. She and her husband Nick have been married for over 40 years, and now have 9 grandchildren. They are involved in both the pastoral and marriage ministries at their church.
Peter, a pastor of 30 years plus, is married to Emma and based in rural Essex where they serve the local church. Peter’s wider bible teaching ministry includes serving as a prison chaplain and pioneering the creation of Gospel Partnerships in East Africa. Originally a doctoral project, the growth of gospel-centred Pastors’ Fellowships is transforming the evangelical landscape for many churches and leaders in Tanzania and Kenya.
Amy Boucher Pye is a writer, speaker and spiritual director, and the author of five books, including her latest: Transforming Love: How Friendship with Jesus Changes Us. She loves to lead retreats, including at Penhurst Retreat Centre and El Palmeral in Spain. Find her at amyboucherpye.com.
Chris Jervis
Chris is married to Carolyn and lives in Dorset. They have three daughters and six grandchildren. Chris has served in parishes in the UK and Jersey and was Head of Academic Theology and Philosophy for nearly 30 years in a leading public school. He has played and coached many sports. Chris has a passion for effective preaching that is biblical and gospel-focussed.
Anne is a mother of four, proud grandmother of one and on the leadership team of New Wine along with her husband John who is chairman of the Trustees. Together they lead a house-based church reaching out to friendship networks and people in the arts. She is passionate about worship, God’s kingdom and family, her own and the wider Christian family, here and abroad.
Celia is a writer and speaker and compiles the CARE Prayer Guide. Alongside her husband Lyndon, she has been involved in CARE’s work in Parliament and other activities since its beginning. Celia and Lyndon love living in London and have two fantastic sons and one wonderful daughter. She likes reading and sharing good food and laughter with friends and family.
Derek Tidball is now retired and lives in Leicester. Having served as a Baptist pastor, Derek spent much of his time in theological education and is a former Principal of London School of Theology. Since leaving that post he has devoted himself to teaching in Bible Colleges overseas, to writing and preaching. He is married to Dianne, who has recently served as President of the Baptist union of Great Britain.
Sandra Wheatley lives in Newcastle upon Tyne. She trained as a nurse and enjoyed every aspect of caring for others during a long and successful career. She now lives a challenging life with MS. Though no longer able to work still lives a full life through an extensive prayer and e-mail ministry.
