 PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
“If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles.”
Matthew 5:41
TO GOD: Father, thank you that you never ask us to do anything that you are not willing to do. Jesus walked the extra mile to Calvary! We love you Lord!
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, we thank you for those churches that have sacrificially opened their hearts and their doors to neighbours who stand in need of practical, psychological and spiritual help.
FOR THE WORLD: Father please touch our hearts to support those agencies working to rebuild the lives of individuals and families devastated by tragedy, especially ...
FOR OUR NATION: May social justice underpin our Parliament’s legislature. We pray for Christian Action, Research and Education (CARE) and Christians in both Houses.
FOR OUR FRIENDS: May we not be so preoccupied that we miss opportunities to demonstrate sacrificial love, bringing honour to your Name.
FOR MYSELF: Father may I respond to Jesus’ command given at the Last Supper to “go and do likewise” (Luke 10:37). Amen.
  PRAYER
Lord, please equip Simon Guillebaud as he speaks at the Men’s Breakfast on 25th. AMEN.
