PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
The Lord was with Joseph, and he prospered, and he was in the house of his Egyptian master. Genesis 39:2
TO GOD: Holy Father, thank you that your word inspires us to know and depend on Christ. Thank you that truth is unchanging, always leading in paths of righteousness and integrity.
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, thank you for the blessings we receive day by day; we praise you for meeting our needs according to your riches in glory (Philippines 4:19).
FOR THE WORLD: Father, your word tells us, “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people” (Proverbs 14:34). We pray for righteousness in the actions of world leaders.
FOR OUR NATION: Father, may our nation be great, not only in name but in righteous government.
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, we pray for our friends and neighbours who are struggling with life. May we be inspired to ‘cross the road’ and give what we have received.
FOR MYSELF: Father, may my life be an inspiration to others to walk in your ways, and share your goodness generously with others. Amen.
PRAYER
Lord please prepare hearts to be touched by the presence of your spirit at the counselling evening on 15th September.

The Presence & Action of God in the Professional Counselling Process - drawing on their long experience of running professional counselling services in the community, based on Christian beliefs and values, David and Nikki reflect on how such support opens up new possibilities for
healing and inner transformation. Counselling assists in the exploration of thoughts, feelings and behaviours and may provide tools to unpack issues which have been kept buried.
The cost is £10.00 per person. An optional buffet from 7pm is £12.00.
