PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
They said to him, “We have had dreams, and there is no one to interpret them.” Genesis 40:8
TO GOD: Father, ‘may the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer’ (Psalm 19:14).
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, raise up men and women who seek to hear what you are saying to today’s church. The church will perish without discernment, wisdom, knowledge and prophecy.
FOR THE WORLD: Lord, bring revival as your word is faithfully preached. Father raise up a generation of evangelists with hearts on fire for Jesus (Romans 10:14).
FOR OUR NATION: Lord, we stand with Care, Christian Concern and other organisations defending Christian values in our society. In amongst so many competing voices, may your voice be heard, knowing it will not return void (Isaiah 55:11).
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, for a moment I want to name people whom I know need grace, strength and breakthrough today......
FOR MYSELF: Father, may my heart be inspired by your word so that I might walk alongside friends bringing change just as Jesus did (Luke 24:13-35). Amen.
PRAYER

DELVING DEEPER Encountering God on
the Journey - with Sheila Jacobs
Wednesday 19th November, 10.30am to 3.00pm
A time of considering the ways God meets with us on our life journey. Whether we’re tired, exhausted, having messed up or just wondering where God is or if he cares, we can have a God encounter when we
least expect it. Looking at Elijah’s experience in 1 Kings 19, the woman at the well in John 4, the meeting on the Emmaus Road and Peter’s restoration in John 21.
Join us as Sheila helps us listen to and discern what God may be saying and doing in our lives, and how we might recognise and encounter him on the journey. This day is for men and women.
