PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK

TO GOD: Father, Holy God, I worship you, I give my heart to you, laying every hope and ambition down; I come before your throne of grace empty handed. Here I am...
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, please purge the church of all that is sin, in the knowledge that Jesus is returning for a pure spotless bride, clothed in robes of fine linen (Revelation 19:7-8).
FOR THE WORLD: Lord as we ‘declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light’ (1 Peter 2:9), we pray that those trapped in darkness may come to the Light.
FOR OUR NATION: ‘Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin condemns any people’ (Proverbs 14:34). Lord, show us how to pray.
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, may we never stop interceding for our friends, that they may walk in your ways, in the knowledge of your love and grace.
FOR MYSELF: Father, I repent of ...............; please purify my heart. Fill me with the Holy Spirit so that I may shine for you. Amen.
