PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
“Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.” Mark 8:34
TO GOD: Father, thank you that Jesus is my example, who ‘being in appearance as a man, humbled himself by becoming obedient to death – even death on a cross!’ (Philippians 2:8).
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, may your church manifest your kindness in forgiving, turning the other cheek, walking the extra mile, giving our coats... for your glory.
FOR THE WORLD: Thank you Father for every agency that is at work in the world, bringing relief and hope. I especially pray for ...............
FOR OUR NATION: Almighty God, we pray for justice for refugees, especially those seeking asylum. May we always care for ‘the alien in our midst’ (Leviticus 19:34).
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, ‘religion that you accept as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress...’ (James 1:27). Show me where and how I can live this out.
FOR MYSELF: Father, please reveal to me the areas of life which I need to deny, so that I may grow ever closer to Jesus. Amen.
PRAYER
Oh Lord, please draw me closer to you; may I know your presence anew today.

WOODHATCH
FARM BARN
Woodhatch Farm Barn is set in a semi-rural location and can comfortably accommodate 40 people. It can be hired by Church groups and Christian charities, for meetings and Away Days. Bring your own lunch and use the fully fitted kitchen. Alternatively there are 2 local
pubs where you could book lunch: The Dog House (formerly The Moletrap) and The Green Man Pub and Courtyard. The cost is £14.00 per person to hire for the day, and we provide tea/coffee for the Group to self-serve. There is a minimum charge for 15 people for a Saturday booking. We ask that people share cars where possible as parking spaces are limited.
