PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
“I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever!” Revelation 1:18
TO GOD: Heavenly Father, thank you that Jesus is the radiance of your glory and the exact representation of your being, sustaining all things by his powerful word (Hebrews 1:3).
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, thank you that we worship a living Saviour who, by the Holy Spirit, empowers us to be ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20).
FOR THE WORLD: Father, your word tells us that righteousness exalts a nation and sin is a reproach to any people (Proverbs 14:34). We pray for righteousness in the actions of world leaders.
FOR OUR NATION: Father, forgive us for the unrighteous laws we have passed; they are an evidence of drift from biblical Christianity. Please have mercy.
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, we pray for our friends and neighbours, especially those who are struggling at this time. Please show us how we can help them.
FOR MYSELF: Father, may I want to know Christ, the power of his resurrection and, if it be your will, to share in his sufferings (Philippians 3:10).
PRAYER
Lord we pray more schools will include you in their CHRISTmas activities, to sow seeds of hope into young lives.
AMEN.

A day for worship, Bible teaching and personal reflection
Journey to Bethlehem - Embracing Our Own Annunciations. We will explore the spiritual significance of the Nativity story. We will delve into themes of faith, trust, and divine calling,
drawing parallels between the journeys of Mary and Joseph and their own spiritual paths and encounters with God’s call.
Ruth is a Living Light Contributor and an ordained Minister, an Accredited Pastoral Supervisor, Spiritual Director and Leadership Coach.
The cost of £26 per person includes tea/coffee from 10am and a 2 course lunch.
