PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
“I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first.” Revelation 2:19
TO GOD: Father, thank you for the inspiration the Holy Spirit brings, especially in moments of great need. Thank you too that you lead us in paths of righteousness, for your Name’s sake (Psalm 23:3).
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, your word tells us: “Whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father” (John 14:12). May your church be a church of greater things!
FOR THE WORLD: We pray for all those who are yet to hear the gospel of Christ, and who have no access to your word. Please raise up a generation of evangelists.
FOR OUR NATION: Almighty God, we pray for justice for refugees, especially those seeking asylum. May we always care for ‘the alien in our midst’ (Leviticus 19:34).
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, so many people we know are plagued with fear and anxiety. May we be a calming presence, bringing your love, peace, word into every situation.
FOR MYSELF: Father, may I never cease to serve you. In fact, may my devotion increase as the day of Christ’s return nears!
Holy Spirit, we pray for your equipping upon Peter Cockrell as he teaches from your Word at the seminar on 20th
AMEN.

Can you give a Gift?
Each quarter we give over 2,300 complimentary copies of Living Light to prisons, hospitals, care homes and airports. Our prayer is that lives will be transformed as readers hear about the love of God through Jesus.
