PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
“Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God.” Revelation 3:2
TO GOD: Father, forgive us when lacking longsuffering, faithfulness and self-control, the fruit of the Spirit; help us to not give up nor give in, but to be strong in the Lord.
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, we pray, ‘Since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us” (Hebrews 12:1).
FOR THE WORLD: Father, we continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for an ingathering of the Jewish people to know Yeshua as their Messiah.
FOR OUR NATION: May your breath of revival power sweep our nation and awaken the church, for your glory.
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, we pray for those of our friends who are yet to know you. In your love, convict and call them to yourself. I remember especially ...
FOR MYSELF: As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for you, for the living God’ (Psalm 42:1-2).
Lord, please equip Emma Cockrell as she leads Time out with God on 19th and may your spirit refresh those who attend.
AMEN.

EASTER UNWRAPPED An evening with Abby Guinness
Wednesday 25th March, 8pm
Just like an enormous chocolate egg, the story of God told in the Bible is one unified whole that can be hard to consume in one sitting. Come and see it cracked open and ‘meet’ one or two original eye-witnesses who might help us piece together how the events of Easter fit into it all, and what the four-day weekend could mean for us today.
Abby loves to creatively explore the Bible and living a life of faith in today’s world. She is an author, engaging speaker and an experienced
performer. Until recently Abby was Head of Spring Harvest. Having studied Literature at University and Acting at Drama School, she is also a gifted communicator who has written and performed in a wide range of contexts.
