PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
“Jesus became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him” Hebrews 5:9
TO GOD: Loving heavenly Father, thank you that your ways are righteous and just. The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does. (Psalm 145:17)
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, forgive us for every act of prejudice and pride in which we elevate ourselves in judgement over others, choosing to lift up Jesus rather than self!
FOR THE WORLD: In our war-torn world, we pray for help and protection for the innocent, marginalised and vulnerable. Please raise up peacemakers especially in the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Sudan.
FOR OUR NATION: We pray for our leaders, especially those in Government to act justly, to love mercy and to walk humbly (Micah 6:8).
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, I bring before you those who once walked with you but have fallen away. Touch their hearts, Lord; may they recall your goodness and return to you (Luke 15:11-32).
FOR MYSELF: Father, may I be righteous as you are righteous, and just as you are just.
PRAYER
Lord, please help Listeners on all Prayerlines as they call out to you for those who in need. AMEN.

be rooted and grounded in the Bible... and only the Bible.
