   HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO WE HAVE ON ONE DAY?
HOW DO I CHOOSE MY MENUS?
We allow 1 wedding a day.
You will be invited to a menu tasting to sample two dishes from each course. You can then make your selection for each course for your wedding day – please ask your guests for any dietaries or allergies and we will then plan their menus accordingly.
DO WE HAVE EXCLUSIVE USE?
Yes, you have exclusive use of The Mulberry Suite, The Garden Room & Extension, The Marquee and the grounds. We may have a small lunch or afternoon tea in the private dining room however you are unlikely to see any of these guests on the day.
WHAT AGE ARE CHILDREN?
IS THERE A BRIDAL CHANGING AREA?
2-11 year olds are classed as children, 12-17 year olds are classed as teens and are each charged at different rates as per your quote. Children under 2 are free of charge.
Yes, we have our Alderney Suite available from 8am. There are two hair & makeup stations within the Suite where the Bridal party can get ready.*
CAN WE SUPPLY OUR OWN DRINKS?
IS THERE SOMEWHERE FOR THE GROOM TO GET READY?
No alcohol may be brought on the premises for consumption during your event. If there is something special that you would like served, please let us know and we will do our best to source this for you.
Yes, we have the ‘Lads Lounge’ available from midday.*
*please note that shower facilities are not available on the morning of your wedding.
DO WE HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR THE CHIVARI CHAIRS?

DO WE HAVE TO USE YOUR PREFERRED SUPPLIERS?
We can accommodate up to 130 guests for the day and a further 70 in the evening.
Although we do have a great team of preferred suppliers who know the venue and work really well together, you are welcome to choose your own suppliers. We do ask that if you are having chair sashes that these are provided by Coverit.
IS THERE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS?
Yes, but this differs depending on package and the date.
CAN I CHOOSE MY CEREMONY LOCATION?
Yes, but we only allow fresh rose petals or biodegradable confetti.
Our Cedar Suite is licensed for Civil Ceremonies up to 130. Our Lakeview Gazebo is available from April to September weather dependent.
CAN WE LET OFF SKY LANTERNS?
WHAT TIME SHOULD I BOOK OUR CEREMONY?
We do not allow sky lanterns as these may land in the paddock with the animals which can be harmful for them.
You can get married anytime between 12.30pm to 5pm depending on the Registrars availability.
CAN WE HAVE FIREWORKS?
WHAT TIME SHOULD MY GUESTS ARRIVE?
We recommend that guests arrive no more than 30 minutes before your ceremony.
WHAT TIME ARE CARRIAGES?
WHAT TIME CAN WE HAVE ACCESS TO SET UP?
Your suppliers can set up between 8am – 11am on the day, we do not accept any deliveries in advance. We will set out name cards on your behalf but they will need to be supplied to us, separated per table and in the correct order of how you would like your guests to sit.
CAN GUESTS LEAVE THEIR CARS OVERNIGHT?
DO YOU ALLOW OUTSIDE CATERERS?
No, but we do recommend that you purchase this.
We do not allow outside caterers, as we have a fantastic in-house catering team that will be sure to provide you with perfect food on your wedding day. Exceptions will be considered for confectionery, please discuss with your wedding coordinator.
CAN I SPREAD THE COST OF MY WEDDING DAY?

No, the use of these is included within the cost of your package.
ARE WE ALLOWED TO USE CONFETTI?
We do not allow fireworks however you may have hand held sparklers.
Carriages are midnight and we advise that taxis are booked in advance for those not staying at the Hotel.
Cars are left at the owner’s risk but can be left as long as they are collected by 11am the following morning.
DO YOU PROVIDE WEDDING INSURANCE?
We have a standard payment schedule but can accept part payments as long as deadlines are met.
