PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
“They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.” John 17:16-17
TO GOD: Father, Holy God, thank you that your will is that we should be holy, just as you are holy – wonderfully made holy through your holiness. Hallelujah!
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, may your word, and your word only, be taught and preached, bringing us into the truth and sanctifying us for mission.
FOR THE WORLD: Father, for the glory of your Name and the salvation of the lost, raise up an army of evangelists to go into the world to declare your word, the truth.
FOR OUR NATION: Father, may your church be true to your word, shunning compromise and refusing the temptation to embrace worldly philosophies and popularist ideas.
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, may we be good witnesses, being like Jesus, full of grace and truth, bearers of salt and light.
FOR MYSELF: Father, may my heart be so filled with love for you that my one desire is to be like you! Amen.

Lord God, please reveal yourself afresh to those attending ‘Time out with God’ days. AMEN.
