PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”
John 11:44
TO GOD: Father, I thank you that ‘it is for freedom that Christ has set us free’ (Galatians 5:1) and that when ‘the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed’ (John 8:36).
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, we are the ‘once captives’, now set free by Jesus. May we live in freedom as bondservants of Christ.
FOR THE WORLD: Almighty God, there are so many people bound in servitude, living as slaves, sex-trafficked; others enduring sexual, physical and emotional abuse. Lord, please show us how to work with you to bring them into deliverance.
FOR OUR NATION: Lord Jesus, you are the answer! May we fearlessly lift your name high. Lord, please bring revival!
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, we bring our ‘yet to be saved’ friends before you, naming them individually...
FOR MYSELF: Father, may the only clothes I wish to wear be your robes of righteousness (Isaiah 61:10), and the only badge I want to wear be ‘Loved by God’. Amen.

Oh Lord, please equip Carol Moore as she speaks at the Ladies’ Day on 16th May. In Jesus name. AMEN.
