WELCOME TO LIVING LIGHT
Dear friends, once again it’s my pleasure to introduce our Winter’s edition of Living Light. This quarter we draw from the central pillar of Jesus’ teaching, better known as His Sermon on the Mount, expounded in Matthew’s Gospel, chapters 3-7. In these five chapters, Jesus presents His Kingdom Manifesto, many of its principles have been foundational in shaping our laws and indeed, our way of life. However, it’s far more than a manifesto; it reveals the mind of Christ and the heart of God. It’s teaching is timeless, as relevant today as it was 2,000 years ago.
As ever, I need to thank our team of gifted writers who together share a wonderful breadth of knowledge and wisdom. This quarter, I am pleased to welcome Ruth Conlon on board. Ruth brings a unique mix of pastoral care and spiritual insight.
We pray that Living Light will continue to open hearts and minds to the wonder and majesty of God, as seen in and through His beloved son, Jesus.
