PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK
I have no one else like Timothy, who will show genuine concern for your welfare. Philippians 2:20
TO GOD: Father, because ‘your lovingkindness is better than life, today my lips shall praise you’ (Psalm 63:3).
FOR THE CHURCH: Father, may your church manifest your kindness in forgiving, turning the other cheek, walking the extra mile, giving our coat... for your glory.
FOR THE WORLD: Thank you, Father, for every agency that is at work in the world bringing relief and hope. I especially pray for... [name]
FOR OUR NATION: Almighty God, we pray for justice for refugees, especially those seeking asylum. May we always care for the ‘alien in our midst’ (Leviticus 19:34).
FOR OUR FRIENDS: Father, is there anyone to whom I can show kindness today (even an enemy!)? Take time to consider...
FOR MYSELF: Father, please soften my heart so that I may see with eyes of love and compassion, and that your grace may flow through me to those near and far. Amen.
NCT PRAYER

DELVING DEEPER
JESUS: FULLY GOD AND FULLY HUMAN With Ben Cooper, Director, The Proclamation Trust Monday 5th February AT MULBERRY HOUSE
Christians have long made the claim that the one Lord Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully human. But have you ever wondered whether, as some people say, this way
of thinking about Jesus developed very slowly, and perhaps wasn’t the way Christians thought from the very beginning?
We’ll see the Gospel writers from the start presenting Jesus as fully God: fully included in the unique identity of the one true God of the universe.
Tea/coffee from 10am for 10.30am to 3.30pm incl a 2 course lunch. £25 per person.
