Now you can. The Utility Bill Pay Plan provided through National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, Pa., (National Union), an American InternationaI Group, Inc. (AIG) company may be your solution. The plan may help your customers keep their utility service going when they face a covered event with insurance coverage that helps pays their household’s monthly utility bill for up to 6 months.
Utility Bill Pay Plan
Customers voluntarily enroll for coverage, and can choose an individual or a household plan.
n The Individual Plan provides coverage if your customer involuntarily loses their job, becomes disabled or suffers an accidental death.
n The Household Plan provides coverage for your customer and their spouse if either individual involuntarily loses their job, becomes disabled, or suffers an accidental death.
Who’s eligible?
The plan is available to your customers that are: n Ages 18 - 65
n Employed full-time by the same employer (not self- employed) for at least six months prior to their effective date of coverage under this Plan
n Up-to-date on their monthly utility bill.
