This is an opportunity for older pupils to take up the challenge of a new subject, learning
a new alphabet structure and about the lifestyle and culture of the Ancient Greeks.

    Workshop Projects (Year 6 only)
Calling all aspiring DM scholars and those who love to design and make things in the workshop. This is your chance to develop your portfolio, improve your designing skills, use a variety of tools and machines and create personalised pieces.
Let’s Get the Show on the Road
Do you enjoy lighting up the stage and putting on a show? Abberley children are always brilliant performers and naturals in front of an audience but have you ever wondered what needs to happen behind the scenes to put
on a performance? We are aiming to put on
a fantastic dance and gymnastics show this term so join Mrs B-T to help make it happen! Help plan and take a lead with the advertising, social media, programme design and much more to bring this show to the stage!

       Mountain Biking
Mountain biking at Abberley will see children pedalling off for an adventure with friends around the School site. We are lucky to have a network of trails across our own grounds. Children can bring their bikes to school
and tackle the bridleways, singletrack and natural obstacles. We will learn how to set up a bike properly, navigate varied terrain and gain confidence on two wheels.
Green Fingers and Grins
Come and get stuck in to a variety of tasks in the school garden. We will be sowing, weeding, mulching, weaving, composting, whittling and harvesting as the weeks progress. There is something for everyone, all in the great outdoors.

  WHERE? We will meet by the summer house lawn
