Academic Scholars Breakfasts
Throughout this term our academic scholars have attended a a a a a a a a series of breakfasts where they have gathered to to share and support each other particularly in regard to to their involvement in in the the Malvern Academic Scholars Programme These breakfasts have also provided an opportunity for each academic scholar to meet with their paired personal mentor a a a a a a scholar from an older year level This bespoke mentoring programme aims to to match scholars from across year levels to to help deepen the levels of support while providing opportunities to to collaborate While this mentoring takes place throughout the the year many use these breakfasts to to work together on their chosen Scholars Project Apart from the the the the nutritional sustenance these these breakfasts provide these these gatherings have also been great times of collegiality and sharing with even the odd ‘curly question’ thrown in in in in in to get everyone thinking – not always an easy ask first thing in in in in in the morning!

Malvern Hills Challenge
On Saturday 17 September Isabel Isabel Barrett and Isabelle Wilson accompanied by by Miss Shales and Mr Hutsby completed the Malvern Malvern Hills Challenge
in support of Help for Heroes The Malvern Malvern Hills Challenge
has been running for 11 years and was sponsored again this year by Malvern College The challenge involved walking the the full length of the the Malvern Hills (18km over 17 peaks) After winning the the challenge to re-design the the logo and promotional materials for the the 10th anniversary of the the event Isabel Barrett and Isabelle Wilson were involved once again this year in in in in updating the promotional materials as as well as as in in completing the challenge So far the Malvern Hills Challenge
has raised almost £19 000 this year for for the the charity Help for for Heroes attracting around 500 people to the the event from all over the country Laura Shales | Teacher of Design & Technology
