CCF – The Sir Steuart Pringle Trophy
The Sir Steuart Pringle Trophy
is an an annual competition between Royal Marines CCF detachments from across the country It is hosted by the the Royal Royal Marines Marines at the the Royal Royal Marines Marines Commando training centre in in in in Lympstone Devon taking place over three days This year Malvern College’s Royal Marines detachment sent its 9 strongest cadets to compete The weekend was an amazing opportunity and learning experience for all the cadets involved The team worked hard and pulled together well completing the the challenges with determination collaboration and resilience Highlights from the the trip included the the endurance course where students ran the the course whilst keeping together as a a a a team before entering the the ‘sheep dip’ a a a a water pit where they had to push and pull each term member through an underwater tunnel as as well as as Section Attacks Although the the team did not win this year with the the growing numbers and skill of the Marines detachment at Malvern we are optimistic for more success next year Laura Shales | Teacher of Design & Technology
