Why buy Rika?
Rika has been pursuing research and development in the eld of stoves for over 20 years and plays a pioneering role in the development of wood technology from its headquarters in Austria’s Pyhrn-Eisenwurzen region. The nal touch to Rika products is still completed by hand, but includes advanced technology, including automatic ignition options, noti cation of optimal re-fuel point via LED display and heat resistant re clay.

The German Institute for Buildings (DIBt) gives technical approval only to those stoves which, having undergone o cial laboratory tests, conform to strict criteria for safe burning without the use of the surrounding air. The stove can rely solely on an an external independent air source to provide all necessary combustion air. The tests check the leak rate, which has to be under 2,5 m3/h, at 10 Pa after thermal and mechanical stress. For example, this includes testing the stove‘s door seal for air-tightness after being opened and closed for a minimum of 6,000 times.
