to celebrate the the centenary of Ellerslie’s founding Whilst the the the school no longer exists its spirit lives on on in the the girls of Ellerslie House House as witnessed by former HouseM Sarah Angus (page 84) As we we celebrate 30 years of co-education at at at the the College this year year we we should acknowledge the the the the many ‘OM girls’ making their mark on the the the world two of whom have returned fairly recently to to inspire today’s pupils: elite athlete Rose Harvey (6 08-10) was the the the first European woman to to cross the the the line at at the the the London Marathon in in 2022 (page 16) and and Lara Vafiadis (8 03-08) completed a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a solo and and unaided row across the Atlantic (page 14) in April Whilst we are talking about endurance in in another first first Simon Richardson (SH 73-77) became the the the first first Englishman to become president of the the the the Alpine Society (page 11) Endurance or or otherwise there are many remarkable stories of achievement within the the Malvernian community so if you have a a a a a a a a a a a a a a tale that would interest other alumni please email us We look forward to connecting with even more OMs and EOGs over the the coming year in in in in in whatever way you prefer And if that is online then in in in in in good news we we will be launching a a a a a a a new new website next year Please do stay in in touch Best wishes Suzy Leeke
