OM EVENTS IN 2019
Malvernian Society Visit to the Somme
In Spring 2019 we paid tribute to 64 OMs who gave their lives on the Somme in WW1. A party of 15 visited cemeteries and memorials at Arras, Albert, Authuille, Aveluy, Beaumont Hamel, Blighty Valley, Delville Wood, Pozières and Thiepval, where we laid wreaths. We also visited Hawthorn Ridge, the Lochnagar Crater, the Musée Somme, Sunken Lane, Vimy Ridge and the Wellington Tunnels.
