Does anyone know of any company in Wiltshire where I can take my camper to get the front seats and door panels reupholstered? Or even one nearby? Your help is appreciated. Stewart.

Nearest I could recommend would be Bromsgrove Auto trimmers. Fabulous workmanship and discount for club members!
John Dyer added
Sorry, no more discounts since September, but they are very good.

When I change the oil feed stand from a Dynamo to an alternator one, what other bits do I need to change?
I already have the alternator version of the Fuel pump. Anything else I need?
Phil Aldridge replied on Jan 16th
I “think” that is all that is required. Don’t forget the pushrod change if changing the fuel pump over.

Just reassembling the tinware and found I am short of a couple of clips that hold the connecting rod for the heater aps. Anyone know where I can get some and what the clips are called?
Phil Aldridge replied on the same day
Try searching for thermostat parts on a site such as VW Heritage, Just Kampers or Machine 7 as they may have decent drawings to work from.

I have a 1972 VW Bay Window Camper but it is missing one of the bunk beds, the pole and the brackets from the elevating roof. Can anybody advise where I can get them from? Thanks.

Took Dusty the T5’s Tea-Cosy o and he’s enjoying hibernation so much, causing a at battery. Probably the alarm, should have started him up over Xmas!
Nick Gillott replied the same day
Trickle charge the battery with a little solar panel Derek, even over the winter you’ll get enough to stop it becoming a pancake. We’ve lost a leisure battery every winter until this year when it was reporting 100% the other week when the rain nally stopped. The little clip-on ones are really inexpensive.
Derek Leary remarked
Thanks for the advice Nick. Did have one but someone sat on it! (Solar Perplexis?) Will invest in another!
