REGIONAL REPORT
We have 2 EAST events planned in 2021 – All invited – You don’t have to live in the EAST region to attend - the More the Merrier!
Helmingham Hall Classic Car Show on Sunday 1st August 2021.

The 2020 event was cancelled due to COVID but in 2019, the event attracted over 1000 classic cars with 7000+ visitors and 40+ craft and trade stands.
This year, I am happy to confirm that we will have a KGOC (GB) club display stand
at the 2021 show and even happier to let you know that the lovely KGOC committee have agreed to pay the entrance fees for
10 member cars to attend and display their cars on the club stand. If you are interested in attending and willing to display your car on the stand, please email me at east@kgoc-gb.org with a description of your car and preferably a photo or two. EAST region members will be given priority but if we get more than 10 volunteers, I’ll confirm planned display cars (with a couple of back ups) by the end of June 2021.

Visit to Layer Marney Tower will now be held on Sunday 26th September
Due to Goodwood Revival now being held on 17-19th September, our visit to Layer Marney Tower, near Colchester in Essex (www.layermarneytower.co.uk) has been pushed back to Sunday 26th September 2021. Exact details have yet to be confirmed but we will aim to arrive at 12 noon at Layer Marney Tower for Plough Man’s style lunch (probably £10 pp) which will be followed by a private tour of the Tower (usually
£14 pp but graciously waived by owner Nicholas). In addition, I may try to arrange a group drive before or after the visit to Layer Marney Tower so watch this space. We will need exact numbers on the day
