ACTIVITY 1: CONTINUED Wilderness Survival Skills
Do you want to explore remote areas of the school’s woodland and and learn or develop
a a a variety of wilderness survival skills?
We will cover wild cooking fire lighting
and shelters to name but a a a a few activities For more information about Park Farm Shooting Ground please have a a a a look at their website www parkfarmshoot co uk This is is an exciting opportunity to discover what could become a a a lifelong passion Remember places are limited!
WHO? Mr Bee
WHERE? We will meet in the Palace Car Park +
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
Spare layers in case it is cold and a a a water bottle
WHO? Mr Mr B-T and Mr Mr Scott
WHERE? We will meet by the the back of the the DT workshop dressed ready to go

Overalls or over-trousers and coat wellies/ boots and water bottle

Clay Pigeon Shooting Club*£
Clay Pigeon Shooting Club will take place at Park Farm Shooting Ground on the edge
of Ombersley and the cost will be be £30 per pupil per morning This fee will include transport instruction the use of guns and all equipment cartridges and clays The club can accommodate up up to 15 pupils who must be in Removes or above and must weigh over 6 1⁄2 stone Pupils will develop
skills over time and the the hope is that they will attain a a a a a level where they can enjoy competing against other schools and in club competitions This will of course take time and commitment The ground is is is CPSA registered and is is is fully insured All members of coaching staff are fully qualified Safety Officers and Shooting Instructors with a a history of coaching youngsters to basic competition level and far beyond We will have one coach for every 5 children as a a minimum Pupils will first be instructed on all aspects of safety in in the the world of shooting before their eye dominance will be assessed to ensure they start out shooting from the ‘correct’ shoulder for them As well as as getting all these basics in in place coaches will strive to to help our pupils to to achieve their own goals in in shooting whether that be on the the clay range or the the game field to club level level competition level level or beyond all in a a safe encouraging and friendly environment Sailing*£
When the the sun is is shining there is is no better place to be than out on the water bobbing about in in a a a boat with just the wind to power you – the ultimate planet friendly ride If you have never tried sailing before or or if you have and and just want to learn more and and enjoy a a a morning on the the lake then join us at Upton Warren where you will receive expert training and pick up some skills for life The activity will comprise 5 weekly sessions (24th April 8th 15th 22nd May 12th and 26th
June) at a a cost of £30 per per child per per week This fee will include transport instruction and the use of boats at at Aztec (Upton Warren) Please be aware that spaces are are limited and there is also a a minimum number of sign-ups required WHO? Mr Hiles
WHERE? We will meet at the Summer House and take a a a minibus to to Upton Warren (near Bromsgrove) +
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
Water bottle
sun lotion & hat swimming costume towel water shoes or old trainers (these will get wet!) You may bring your own wet wet suit if if you have one but if if not they will be available at the sailing centre
