ACTIVITY 1
Mixed Ball Sports
It’s time to let off some steam and practice your ball skills! We will participate in a wide range of sports, games and activities, whilst learning different rules and techniques. Pupils will develop Agility, Balance, Coordination and Speed skills (ABCS), as well as teamwork and, ultimately, have lots of fun!
Finger Lickin’ Chicken Club
We have a fantastic chicken shed with a secure enclosure to keep the foxes out, but this is in need of maintenance and improvement. The Finger Lickin’ Chicken Club will work to fix and maintain this space. We will go out on the
first Saturday and choose a selection of new chickens, make sure we have all the right gear to keep them happy, and we will then make sure that they settle in well to their new home. We will work with a group of boarders to ensure that the chickens are fed and looked after throughout the term. Once they start laying eggs then we hope to sell these to parents
as they arrive in the mornings and donate proceeds to the school charities. Once we are happy with the state of the chicken enclosure and the chickens are safely settled then we will start enjoying some egg-based outdoor cooking on Saturday mornings once the work is done.
