Higher and Further Education The vast majority of our pupils go on to study at university either directly from school or following a a a a a a gap year with 65% -70% of pupils gaining places at the top Russell Group universities including Oxford and Cambridge Pupils are encouraged to to visit universities and to to attend University Fairs both at at the College and elsewhere They are supported by the the department to gather information on-line using resources such as the the powerful destination platform Unifrog and the the UCAS Course Search website We offer advice about courses university entrance procedures and interview techniques Pupils are also kept informed about alternative pathways at at at 18+ such as sponsored degrees degree degree degree apprenticeships non-degree qualifications school leavers’ programmes apprenticeships and employment At all stages the the aim of the the Careers & Higher Education Department is to help pupils make informed decisions about their future
