Mountain Biking
Mountain biking at Abberley will see children pedalling off uphill and down
for an adventure with friends around the School site We are lucky to have a a a network of trails across our own
grounds Children can bring their bikes to school and tackle our our bridleways and tracks as as well as as our our natural and man-made obstacles We will learn how to set up a a a a bike properly navigate varied terrain and gain confidence on

Global Canvas Art Competition
We are participating in in in a a a a a a really exciting art art competition run by the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation Working with the theme Healing Nature – A Planet on
the the Edge we are creating a a a a a a a large artwork as a a a a a a a group using painting sculpture and collage Some of you may have seen our Populated Planet Earth already underway in the Art Room and that is just the background!
Added to to to this we are going to to to need to to to build cities create animals landscapes and and weather systems If we we are shortlisted we we will have the opportunity to display our piece at at the Natural History Museum in in London in in March 2021 Abberley Radio
Calling all all news reporters and aspiring radio broadcasters Abberley Radio
is coming soon! This activity
will be for children in Removes and and Shells (maximum of 10) and and will involve writing a a a report about an event at school in the the previous week and then recording this for the school community to listen to in one broadcast Every week will see a a a new duo take the lead but everyone will will record their own
reports It will will be a busy session but each week we we will have a a a broadcast for everyone to to listen to to WHO? Mr Raven

Your mountain bike (this can be stored at school) helmet appropriate clothing towel clean clothes and water bottle

During the cookery activity
we will introduce children to a a a variety of ingredients and help them prepare and cook delicious varied recipes Children will be hands-on chopping dicing grating and spiralizing We will inspire children to have fun with food and to give them vital skills they can use again again and again again They will learn about ingredients they may not have encountered and increase their confidence in in the the kitchen WHO?
