House No 2 News
Each weekend House No 2 boys are set weekly challenges making cheese scones cooking and and decorating a a a a a Victoria Sponge and and baking bread with parents and and siblings judging and and tasting! The 2 litre milk carton challenge led to to some interesting creativity with Jonny Tunstall making a a a a trombone delighting us all all with his very own musical rendition! We enjoyed an online Burns (with haggis enjoyed by many) supper event where Jamie Russell played the bagpipes for us us (online)! House No 2 boys have enjoyed an online online Quiz and several lockdown challenges with different year groups competing with one another Including a a a a House 2 Trivia Quiz and challenges such as – build a a a a tower with anything in in the house get into smallest space possible disguise yourself as a a a a kitchen utensil see how how many biscuits you you can get in your mouth how how many clothes you can put on on at once! During February House No 2 pupils are participating in in in the Fifty in in in February challenge where they challenge themselves to to something linked to to the the the number 50 ranging from running 50 50 miles miles in in in in the month cycling 50 50 miles miles per week week running 50 50 50 50 km per per week week 50 50 50 50 push ups per per day 5050 pull ups in in in the month 50 minute walk per day etc! This initiative will enable pupils to to to raise money for a a a a a a charity that provides laptops to to to children who don’t currently have access to them at school or or for learning from home The link to Fifty in in in February challenge fund raising page:
