   Congratulations to Vitit Muntarbhorn (5.66-70), a distinguished Law scholar and expert on human rights, on being awarded the Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (KBE).
Josh Penrice (2.09-14) became indoor rowing world champion at the World Urban Games. He was part of the Great Britain Team which triumphed in Budapest in Sep- tember. In December he added the British Mens’ 2000m title.
Congratulations to Laura Sale (4.03-08) on her marriage to Matthew Bailey in June.
Peter Sanguinetti (7.53-58) writes from Northern Ontario where he lives with his wife, daughter and three grandchildren. He looks after 12 acres of forest and maintains the trails throughout the property. He has a part- time job driving a school bus. A lay reader
in the Anglican Church of Canada, he also writes for the Muskoka Seniors Magazine. Peter is a director of the Canadian Alliance of British Pensioners, a not-for-profit organisa- tion advising UK Nationals on their UK state pension rights, and is working on changing the UK government’s pension policy of freez- ing the state pensions it pays to UK nationals who contributed to the national insurance scheme while working in the UK. but who now live in the older Commonwealth countries. Well done to James Scott (7.15-17), who played in the England under-20s international against South Africa in April.
   Sophia Paspaley (EH.13-17) is developing
a successful career as a jewellery-designer whilst boyfriend Artem Li (2.12-17) is making a name for himself as a weightlifter. In August he competed at the Australian U23 weight- lifting championships in the 96 kg category. He was placed first in the snatch, second in the clean and jerk and second overall, setting new Northern Territory U23 records in all these categories and the Northern Territory senior record in the snatch.
Congratulations to Aleksandra Procyszyn (6.07-09) on her marriage to Oliver Bourcke in July.
We congratulate Tim Rawstron (4.58-64) and Margaret on their 50th wedding anniver- sary, celebrated at a dinner at St Anne’s Old Links Golf Club. Apart from three rounds of golf a week, they keep busy in the ‘kinder’ months with their allotment, with tennis (Margaret) and cricket umpiring (Tim). Tim
is in regular (lunch-dates) contact with John Edge (4.60-65), Chris Irvine (4.58-63), Mike Sambidge (4.59-64) and Roger Battersby (4.60-65).
