ACTIVITY 1
Mixed sports and
activities run by the
Year 7 and 8 Sports Leaders
Under the supervision of staff, the Year 7 and 8 pupils will be planning and running
a wide range of exciting sports, games and activities for the Year 3 – 6 pupils each week.
Finger Lickin’ Chicken Club
We have a fantastic chicken shed with a secure enclosure to keep the foxes out, but this is in need of continual maintenance and improvement. The Finger Lickin’ Chicken Club will continue to work on and maintain this space. We will also work with a group
of boarders to ensure that the chickens are fed and looked after throughout the term. Now that the current chickens have started laying eggs we will be selling these to parents as they arrive in the mornings and donate proceeds to the school charities. Once we are happy with the state of the chicken enclosure we will start enjoying some egg-based outdoor cooking on Saturday mornings.
If you want to spend time outside in the fresh air putting your practical skills to good use, learn how to keep chickens and enjoy eating the freshest eggs possible, then the Finger Lickin’ Chicken Club is the club for you!
