RAF Cadets
The RAF section has completed many exciting activities this term. RAF cadets have honed their shooting skills on the range and learned basic climbing . It has been very exciting to return to flying after two years of disruption, with cadets putting into practice their knowledge from gaining their First Class Cadet and Leading Cadet badges. It is one thing to learn the theory behind negative and positive g-force, but quite another to experience it first-hand! Flight Sergeant Laverty completed the ACPS (Air Cadets Pilot Scheme) and has flown an aircraft solo - all before he is old enough to take driving lessons. Sergeant Isherwood is completing the course as I type this article. RAF Cadets closed their year by watching the Air Show at Weston-super-Mare. There are so many fantastic opportunities for our cadets and we as staff are rewarded by their enthusiasm and sense of adventure.
