The assessment will take place on
the the the same day as as the the the Drama
Scholarship and the the the successful candidate will need to show a a a a a a comprehensive understanding of all the creative disciplines of of presentation and dramatic intent The assessment will take the form of of three tasks:
 A small improvisation workshop
 A musical theatre song of approximately two or three minutes in in length  A short dance/movement routine to be choreographed on
the day Musical theatre scholars will be expected to to contribute widely to to the the the the theatrical life of the the the the school and audition for for all productions They will be the perfect ambassadors for for musical theatre and and role models in in commitment to other pupils They will bring energy and and enthusiasm to the world of drama at Malvern College An accompanying portfolio of achievements relating to drama theatre or or or performance should should be enclosed The portfolio should should include:
 Photographs of productions (in chronological order) demonstrating a a a a a variety of roles or responsibilities  Any certificates achieved in in theatrical qualifications (LAMDA RADA Guildhall Trinity)  A list of of any significant plays seen at at at the the theatre (amateur or professional) which sparked
an an interest in in the candidate  A short written assessment of of a a a a piece of of live theatre commenting on
elements that were enjoyable  Any other information relevant to drama or or or performance Experience Transformational Learning
