Spring is here and we are starting to see more and more campervans on the road. Summer is only just around the corner and we now have some trips planned, including a short break in France!
Phil has nished work on Bluebell’s engine as it had to come out again! It has now had the top end rebuilt and a new exhaust system from Vintage Speed, which seems excellent.
With our newly built engine, we have been on some local camping trips to a wonderful farm near Headcorn in Kent called Round Oak over the Easter Weekend and have had a short trip to the Romney Marsh over the May Bank Holiday weekend too.
We have proudly displayed Bluebell at Leeds Castle’s “Motors by The Moat” event, did you spot us there? It was a great day out and there were plenty of classic cars and classic VW’s to please the eyes and satisfy that section of the brain. Do you have any plans for shows that you’re going to? Let us know!
We have been working on some new discounts for Club members and have managed to
negotiate ve new bene ts. These include discounts with Lancaster Insurance, Skytag GPS Trackers and Campervan Cookies. See the new discounts announcement pages within this issue.
The Club’s Instagram page has been successful with people tagging us in pictures of their travels and vans.
