The Safeguarding Team
The aim of the Safeguarding Team
is to promote pupil welfare safety health and well-being by creating an an honest open caring and supportive environment in which pupils’ welfare is of paramount importance The Safeguarding Office is is located next to the Wellbeing Room which is is next to the the the Chapel at the the the heart of the the the College The Safeguarding team meets regularly and its work is is closely guided by a a a raft of legislation and guidance full details can be found in the Safeguarding Policy on the College website Mrs Penny Bijl is the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) This means she has lead responsibility for the wellbeing and protection
of pupils at the College for ensuring staff are recruited and trained safely (working closely with the Director of Human Resources Mrs Kate Tripp) and for monitoring the progress of any pupil needing additional support or or protection
