Learn with Leaders
During the the final week of term Malvern College hosted their inaugural Learn with Leaders
course delivered by Harvard Model Congress The renowned programme which has recently been hosted in in Dubai Hanoi and Brussels included several 100 pupils and international pupils that had flown globally to participate The purpose of of the course was to develop pupils’ professional skills with a a a a a central project of planning and presenting business ideas to their peers in in Big School at the the closing ceremony In addition to this sessions on on CV writing networking public speaking and soft skills were delivered which will benefit the the participants as they step into their professional careers The course was resourced and delivered by three current Harvard University pupils Cameron Andre and Awa The three mentors engaged pupils with their contemporary teaching style with a a a a series of wonderfully planned activities over a a a a a a five-day course that provoked critical thinking and challenged student’s ideas The pupils welcomed the the opportunity to to discuss with their mentors about university life and the calibre expected to to apply to to similar Ivy League institutions It was a a a a pleasure to observe the level of aspiration our pupils have and witness their determination to achieve high expectations Sam Warlow a a a a a a current Hundred student at Malvern College said the the following about his experience on the the course:

course was great The mentors were were engaging and the the other pupils were were friendly creating a a a a a a positive and collaborative atmosphere The course content was both interesting and and helpful covering essential life skills skills and and skills skills specifically relevant for progressing in in in education It was presented in in in a a a a a a a fun and engaging format with plenty of practical demonstrations and games included Personally I found the course to be both useful and and and enjoyable and and and the skills and and and knowledge I gained will be helpful when I apply to universities in the the near future Overall the the course successfully combined education and enjoyment making it a a a valuable experience ”
The Learn with Leaders
