Before Bed
Noodle Night
Tuesday night is Top Year Noodle Night. Instant noodles can either be brought in and stored in tuck boxes or purchased from the Tuck Shop.
Tuck Boxes
Full Boarders are allowed to bring a lockable tuck box into school which can be filled with their favourite sweet treats from home! They have access to these on a Wednesday night and at the weekend. Please remember we are a NUT FREE school.
Routine
Everyone showers before bed and hands
in dirty laundry. You can then relax in the dorms and common rooms. Everyone has the opportunity to top up with a bit more food before bed and watch a film and catch up with the House Staff to discuss how the day has gone.
Rewards and Sanctions
Rewards
On all dorm doors are sticker charts. Stickers can be awarded for all sorts of reasons upstairs. Keeping a tidy dorm, not talking after lights out, being polite and courteous upstairs, being kind to a new boarder,
being helpful etc. They can be awarded by teachers, gaps, matrons and cleaners. For every 10 stickers that are achieved, those children get a tuck reward. At the end of term, the dorm with the most stickers get a mega treat....!!
Sanctions
Early bedtime, early lights out or missing House Night. We don’t like it when you miss out on the fun, so follow the rules and everything will be okay!
