Viva Skegvegas
Revesby Country Park., Lincs PE22 7NH Friday 15th – Sunday 17th August 2025
On the weekend of 15th-17th August, 9 club vans camped together at Viva Skegvegas held at Revesby park. The weather stayed dry, so we were able to socialise between the vans while comparing gadgets. It’s a very friendly show which has grown over the years. If your passion is for old air- cooled VWs it’s worth a visit. Like all shows you have trade, food & drink, children’s entertainment etc it also has a great deal of auto jumble which is something you don’t see very often anymore.
They hold a dog show with various categories, one of which is the dog the judges would most like to take home. This was won by one of our club dogs.
This is Leo. He belongs to Andrew and his daughter Beth. He wore his winners rosette with pride in front of their van so I could take this picture. I spoke to one of the judges who said they were all lovely but she could have taken Leo home with her.
If you like the idea of camping with other club members keep an eye on the events section in the magazine and on the website for future events. Camping together can be a social event or just a base for you to do your own thing the choice is yours.
