Progress made but it ended up being expensive! The new front panel that I had fitted some years ago was put neatly onto the A posts, but they were in slightly the wrong place – new front panel purchased and fitted after the A posts were corrected. Then much thinking happened, and the felt tip came out to draw on the metal for where to cut to help correct the roof and B post placements before a Eureka
moment. Instead of cutting Eric, a Porta Pack (an expensive car jack basically!) was used to change the shape of the front door openings. With a lot of spoon work as well to reshape the metal afterwards, the quiet genius that is Mr Munro was able to call me and close the doors with a wonderfully satisfying clunk on both sides. No more stuck doors.
