RAF Annual Camp ⊲
There was the RAF annual camp where activities included shooting, ziplining, raft building, kayaking and much else. Sulaiyman Ahmad Fauzi was selected as Lead Cadet for the week and awarded the Camp Commandant’s Award, whilst James Francis was “Best Cadet”. Charles Izzard attended the prestigious Air Cadet Leadership Court at RAF Cranwell for which only 1 out of every 20 applicants were selected.
⊳ Military Training Camp in Cumbria
Nineteen cadets and four members of staff went on a military training camp at Warcop in Cumbria for eight days where the cadets displayed outstanding qualities.
⊳ White Water Kayaking in Slovenia
There was white water kayaking in Slovenia and our thanks go to Mr Jay Watts and Mr Justin Major for this. Also the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Sea Kayakers qualifier expedition was held in Sardinia.
