Our Approach
In the following section (pages 8-12) we have provided you with the weekly timetable for each class: Reception, Class 1 and Class 2.
We hope that this will offer structure for your child’s learning at home. We understand that the specific times given may vary for different families and we aim to continually monitor how well you feel your child is able to access the timetables set. Changes can be made to suit your family and we welcome daily contact to check that both you and your child are able to cope with the content
and quantity of the work and activities set.
Class teachers will email your child’s daily lesson plans the evening before and they will be available during the school day to answer any queries and offer help via parent email.
The school day will start from 08:40, as per the normal timetable, and Literacy and Mathematics will be a priority each morning. The afternoons will be more physical and creative and involve the outdoors wherever possible.
